On the island, our dedicated farmers wait for the nutmeg pods to split on its own before harvesting. Unlike other countries that split the pods by human aid, not allowing the tree to do it by itself.
Waiting for the split is the most important part before harvesting. This promotes a high potency spice with the nutmeg oils & flavors being preserved naturally on its own, developing high-quality nutmeg production every time.
